Mikael Liberatore didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 9th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Mikael Liberatore ran dejectedly back to his position. Georg Glad hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Sören Tunberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Bambas in the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikael Liberatore in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rıza Vuralhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led to Wargön's Mikael Liberatore getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Bayan Baye who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Rıza Vuralhan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rıza Vuralhan made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Bayan Baye sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antti Ani in the 22nd minute of play forced Wargön's goalkeeper Sören Tunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th play minute Bayan Baye came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rıza Vuralhan. 1-0. The nice shot from Bayan Baye in the 30thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Rıza Vuralhan had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Strömsbro IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bayan Baye was slow to take the kick. During this time Wargön's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Wargön's David Buhăescu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Liberatore came free, but Rıza Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Bayan Baye lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Rıza Vuralhan. Igor Bambas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sören Tunberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Wargön got a freekick which was hit by David Buhăescu. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charlie Beck made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Bambas to maneuver through the defense. Mikael Liberatore struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Rıza Vuralhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wargön. Wargön's Nils-Arne Nilsson was substituted for Iwan Czeberowski. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lukas Hallgren during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Strömsbro IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wargön:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Buba in the 98th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wargön walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
