In the 14thth minute of the game Evgeniy Fomichev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valhalla F.C.'s Benicio Larez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Igor Akinfeev came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Valhalla F.C.'s Karim Morientes. But to his dismay, Karim Morientes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Voskresensk FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gu Xuan Xiong hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Karim Morientes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evgeniy Fomichev kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Karim Morientes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Igor Akinfeev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evgeniy Fomichev in the 28th minute of play forced Valhalla F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Larez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Voskresensk FC's Igor Akinfeev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Morientes in the 30th minute of play. Henry Ford hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Karim Morientes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Voskresensk FC's Igor Akinfeev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bai Yong Yi kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Igor Akinfeev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim Morientes in the 39th minute of the match. Grigoriy Galkin made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gu Xuan Xiong however managed to control. Karim Morientes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Akinfeev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fedor Ivanchuk to make the kick off. Igor Akinfeev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Morientes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 63rd minute Evgeniy Fomichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Larez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fedor Ivanchuk in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Larez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Voskresensk FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Grigoriy Galkin hit a great ball. Valhalla F.C.'s Du Fan Fei was substituted for Bai Yong Yi. After 73 played minutes Voskresensk FC got a freekick which was hit by Grigoriy Galkin. Izel Ronaldo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 75th minute Izel Ronaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Akinfeev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Voskresensk FC's Dmitry Alenichev was substituted for Fedor Ivanchuk. The audience was convinced that Izel Ronaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Akinfeev was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 84th minute Evgeniy Fomichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Larez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valhalla F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
