In the 10th match minute, Pescara calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Aureo to maneuver through the defense. Camillo Serafini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrence McAllister in the 15th minute of the match. Flavio Vulcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brett Ladd having to interfere. 0-3 became the score in the 34th minute when Nikitas Papaiakovou elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikitas Papaiakovou in the 39th minute of play forced Pescara calcio's goalkeeper Camillo Serafini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Terrence McAllister got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in New England Minas's zone, Desiderio Aureo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brett Ladd came out of the goal and Desiderio Aureo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When Pescara calcio's Desiderio Aureo in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 72 minutes of play, Pescara calcio's Desiderio Aureo made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brett Ladd was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Edoardo Macchione fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pescara calcio's protests and gave Edoardo Macchione a yellow card for diving instead. Camillo Serafini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Terrence McAllister showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 78 minute of play. Pescara calcio's attentive Edoardo Macchione managed to snatch the ball when Ronnie Parks made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. New England Minas's Brett Ladd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Aureo in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Flavio Vulcano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pescara calcio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Vulcano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Flavio Vulcano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pescara calcio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. Brett Ladd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Vulcano in the 94th minute of play. The Pescara calcio supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching New England Minas's performance. The match ended with a win for New England Minas.
