Woody Connolly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Nguyễn Hung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. orbit's Blaine Owen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save orbit from getting a goal against them. After 9 played minutes orbit got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Weeks. Blaine Owen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phan Huynh Duc in the 14th minute of the match. Vicente Weeks hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Duong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Woody Connolly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Phan Huynh Duc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blaine Owen having to make a save. If Woody Connolly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nguyễn Duong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to orbit getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Guy Velasco hit a great ball. If Steve Seymour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phan Huynh Duc in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blaine Owen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Phan Huynh Duc to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, orbit's Nguyễn Hung threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Steve Seymour, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nguyễn Phong kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Quentin Whitehead charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quentin Whitehead the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Quentin Whitehead hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Woody Connolly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. An Giang's Đặng Hong got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Vũ Bay managed to get in a good position for a shot. An Giang's supporters rose to their feet, but Vũ Bay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blaine Owen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to orbit getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Vicente Weeks hit a great ball. When An Giang's Phan Huynh Duc in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye orbit's goalie prevented a goal. When An Giang's Đặng Hong in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye orbit's goalie prevented a goal. Woody Connolly's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Nguyễn Hung skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. orbit's Blaine Owen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phan Huynh Duc in the 80th minute of play. Steve Seymour scored 1-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nguyễn Hung, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Phan Huynh Duc struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Blaine Owen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for An Giang. In the 92nd minute Steve Seymour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Hung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blaine Owen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phan Huynh Duc, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Woody Connolly cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Nguyễn Hung was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The An Giang supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching orbit's performance. The match ended with a win for orbit.
