After some careless play in the Semdinli JK defense, Flavio Vulcano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of İrfan Çoğaş. The Semdinli JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İrfan Çoğaş should have stopped the shot. Aşık Altunhan's late challenge caught a Pescara calcio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aşık Altunhan helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Semdinli JK! The referee gave Pescara calcio a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Francesco De Toni, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Semdinli JK's İrfan Çoğaş. 0-2. In the 26thth minute of the game Desiderio Aureo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Semdinli JK's İrfan Çoğaş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabiano Spinosa kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pescara calcio's Ferdinando Toto got a free kick in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Zülfikar Öztürk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camillo Serafini. Zülfikar Öztürk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 32nd minute of the game Abbas Temcit made a throw-in which Deniz Özduran played forward. After a rather tough play, Semdinli JK's Sedat Erşahan got a free kick in the 43rd minute. İrfan Çoğaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Aureo in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Desiderio Aureo made a kick off. İrfan Çoğaş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Vulcano in the 52nd minute. Flavio Vulcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. İrfan Çoğaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-5 became the score in the 61st minute when Desiderio Aureo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Desiderio Aureo made a precise shot to the right of İrfan Çoğaş. Semdinli JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. After 66 minutes, Deniz Özduran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Semdinli JK and the Pescara calcio players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Semdinli JK got a freekick which was hit by Deniz Özduran. If Flavio Vulcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İrfan Çoğaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Aureo in the 71st minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Francesco De Toni got away a dangerous shot. Despite this İrfan Çoğaş quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 74th minute, Deniz Özduran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pescara calcio's Desiderio Aureo got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th match minute, Pescara calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Vulcano to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Pescara calcio getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Edoardo Bobbio hit a great ball. Pescara calcio's Florian Romino quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sedat Erşahan, made in the 86th minute of the game. 90 minutes into the game, Zülfikar Öztürk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Semdinli JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pescara calcio the free kick. Zülfikar Öztürk hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Desiderio Aureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İrfan Çoğaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, one of Pescara calcio:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pescara calcio. In the 97th minute, Abbas Temcit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Semdinli JK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pescara calcio were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
