Juan Funes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Stéphane Brault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Funes in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's goalkeeper Stéphane Brault had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Funes. In the 13th minute Ramon Centurión shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Stéphane Brault made a huge save. In the 23rd minute of the match, Juan Funes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stéphane Brault saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 24th minute River CBBA were awarded a corner. Guerau Abeitia went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Guerau Abeitia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stéphane Brault quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
