Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zula Bugno in the 26th minute of play. But to his dismay, Zézinho Veloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Kazimierz Pahucki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mickaël Maris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. The referee ignored SζλR∃ ∀Γ∀Γ ♥'s protests and gave Pawel Marczyniec a yellow card for diving instead. 96 minutes into the game, Zula Bugno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Mickaël Maris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Andrézinho Vaz was substituted for Horaţiu Măcrinici.
