Club Atlético Escocia's Delmiro Iztal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Walme in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Club Atlético Escocia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Tolino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Walme in the 23rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Delmiro Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Cordeiro in the 26th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Club Atlético Escocia made a substitution. Aurelio Resto replaced Ciriaco Satordi. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Bittor was the one to do the kick off. Arturo Cordeiro took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmiro Iztal. After having played for 62 minutes, Enrique Astrada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Escocia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Astrada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Tartalo in the 67th minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Leon Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Ado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Arturo Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Club Atlético Escocia booed when Howling Dawn U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Guter didn't get a good kick on the ball. German Tartalo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ildefonso Guter hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Club Atlético Escocia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Howling Dawn U18 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
