Argentinos del Norte's Primeiro Leto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Mino in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Medina in the 4th minute of play forced Argentinos del Norte's goalkeeper Primeiro Leto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primeiro Leto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Mino in the 6th minute of play. Arnoldo Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Primeiro Leto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Argentinos del Norte's Primeiro Leto got control of the ball when Santiago Mino tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Argentinos del Norte's goalkeeper Primeiro Leto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Mino. Santiago Mino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Primeiro Leto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alfredo Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Ponc, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Apolo Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ladislao Birila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Palermo booed when Argentinos del Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. With an all-out effort, Palermo's Primeiro Leto threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arnoldo Medina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Primeiro Leto was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Santiago Mino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santiago Mino really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Argentinos del Norte booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Chaime didn't get a good kick on the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Primeiro Leto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Mino in the 91st minute of play. After 95 minutes, David Petersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Argentinos del Norte and the Palermo players grew even worse after the yellow card.
