The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Ponc came free, but Rodrigo Massó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute of the match Argentinos del Norte got a corner. PLUMIN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaspar Laurendi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Argentinos del Norte's corner Gaspar Laurendi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rodrigo Massó quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the PLUMIN defense, Gualterio Ponc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Massó. The PLUMIN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Massó should have stopped the shot. Argentinos del Norte's Primeiro Leto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Salvino in the 10th minute of play. With an all-out effort, PLUMIN's Primeiro Leto threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Delmiro Mel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 18 minutes into the game, Cirilo Salvino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Primeiro Leto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22ndth minute of the game Cirilo Salvino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentinos del Norte's Primeiro Leto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. PLUMIN were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Argentinos del Norte's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Delmiro Mel took the corner. David Petersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cirilo Salvino struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Primeiro Leto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PLUMIN. If Adrian Montero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Salvino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Primeiro Leto was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. A hard shot 38 in the game by Cirilo Salvino from a close distance when the talented Primeiro Leto managed to make a qualified save. Argentinos del Norte's players were relieved. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Montero to strike the kick off in the second half. Adrian Montero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Massó having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Simon Ferrer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Primeiro Leto was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. David Petersson hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Ferrer in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Primeiro Leto saved Argentinos del Norte from getting behind. A collision led to PLUMIN getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Simon Ferrer hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Simon Ferrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes Argentinos del Norte got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Bilbo. In the 67th minute, Basilio Bilbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primeiro Leto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Mel in the 68th minute of the match. If Delmiro Mel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Argentinos del Norte's Cornelius Middelhede got a free kick in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Argentinos del Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Salvino came free, but Primeiro Leto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Montero kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 83 minutes of play, PLUMIN's Simon Ferrer made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Primeiro Leto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Argentinos del Norte were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after PLUMIN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gaspar Laurendi took the corner. Rodrigo Massó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Aguirre in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Ferrer in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Primeiro Leto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute Cornelius Middelhede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Massó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Ferrer might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Primeiro Leto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Ferrer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute, Rigoberto Ayala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Argentinos del Norte's Primeiro Leto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Salvino in the 96th minute of play. Argentinos del Norte's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
