Abelardo Berenguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Jorrin, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético y Tiro Rqta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo Nesor was slow to take the kick. During this time Caballeros Negros™'s players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético y Tiro Rqta's zone, Artemio Belarmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Berenguer came out of the goal and Artemio Belarmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Severino Benino in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Abelardo Berenguer got control of the ball when Tomás Jorrin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 41 minutes Atlético y Tiro Rqta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paulo Nesor who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Paulo Nesor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abelardo Berenguer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mariano Gabon kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Caballeros Negros™'s Casimiro Orain was substituted for Mario Polo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vilhelm Olofsson made a kick off. In the 56th minute Vilhelm Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Ove Felin made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Maxi Rodríguez sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Severino Benino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Ove Felin was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Abelardo Berenguer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Benino in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Ove Felin saved Caballeros Negros™ from getting behind. Jonas Cordera hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Erubiel Munio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjell Vallmark kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Vilhelm Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erubiel Munio took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Ove Felin. Jan-Ove Felin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
