Loui Volens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remy Schoenmaekers, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Diedrik Reiniers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claus Rijmenans in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Rani Boys getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jilian Vrins hit a great ball. Diedrik Reiniers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Stoffels in the 24th minute of play. Remy Schoenmaekers kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Rani Boys's Diedrik Reiniers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Van Bever in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match De Beverpatrouille got a corner. Rani Boys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christoph Gebuers ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on De Beverpatrouille's corner Christoph Gebuers fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Diedrik Reiniers quite easily take care of the ball. Ivan Van Meerbeek hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Rani Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Van Bever came free, but Diedrik Reiniers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of De Beverpatrouille booed when Rani Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elo Orihuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Christoph Gebuers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diedrik Reiniers skillfully saved the ball. In the 39th minute of the match De Beverpatrouille got a corner. Rani Boys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christoph Gebuers ran over to the corner to take the kick. De Beverpatrouille's Christoph Gebuers was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Diedrik Reiniers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gérard Van Bever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diedrik Reiniers came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by De Beverpatrouille's Christoph Gebuers. But to his dismay, Christoph Gebuers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 44 minutes of play, De Beverpatrouille's Barry Van Bever made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diedrik Reiniers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brian Vincke to make the kick off. After having played for 50 minutes, Claus Rijmenans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Beverpatrouille's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claus Rijmenans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 52 minutes into the match, Rani Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Van Bever came free, but Diedrik Reiniers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diedrik Reiniers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Van Bever in the 54th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Claus Rijmenans sped through Rani Boys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diedrik Reiniers. Diedrik Reiniers came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by De Beverpatrouille's Christoph Gebuers. But to his dismay, Christoph Gebuers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Diedrik Reiniers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claus Rijmenans, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Claus Rijmenans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diedrik Reiniers was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Diedrik Reiniers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claus Rijmenans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Rani Boys getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Remy Schoenmaekers hit a great ball. Diedrik Reiniers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claus Rijmenans's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. De Beverpatrouille were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Rani Boys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christoph Gebuers took the corner. 74 minutes into the match, Rani Boys's goalkeeper Diedrik Reiniers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Stoffels. After a rather tough play, Rani Boys's Elo Orihuela got a free kick in the 75th minute. Christoph Gebuers in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diedrik Reiniers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. De Beverpatrouille were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Rani Boys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christoph Gebuers took the corner. De Beverpatrouille's Christoph Gebuers was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Diedrik Reiniers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 86th minute Remy Schoenmaekers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loui Volens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Rani Boys's Diedrik Reiniers got control of the ball when Claus Rijmenans tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rani Boys's Diedrik Reiniers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claus Rijmenans in the 90th minute of play. Barry Van Bever fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diedrik Reiniers having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Meynen in the 93rd minute of play forced Rani Boys's goalkeeper Diedrik Reiniers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoph Gebuers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Diedrik Reiniers made a huge save. In the 96th minute, one of De Beverpatrouille:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for De Beverpatrouille. Loui Volens had in the 100thth minute some difficulties stopping Dean Baeten's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The De Beverpatrouille supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing De Beverpatrouille would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
