Thibaud Neesens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Diedrik Reiniers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loid Vrints in the 6th minute of play forced Rani Boys's goalkeeper Diedrik Reiniers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kaysersheim's Lorenzo Dobbelaere got a free kick in the 9th minute. Dean Baeten struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Otoniel Mondragon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rani Boys. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loid Vrints in the 11th minute of play forced Rani Boys's goalkeeper Diedrik Reiniers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaysersheim's Otoniel Mondragon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Kaysersheim from getting a goal against them. Otoniel Mondragon was a little too slow when Remy Schoenmaekers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Kaysersheim's Otoniel Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Schoenmaekers in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Loid Vrints shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diedrik Reiniers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Vincke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Otoniel Mondragon made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Remy Schoenmaekers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rani Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Remy Schoenmaekers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otoniel Mondragon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, Loid Vrints notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rani Boys's Diedrik Reiniers. Diedrik Reiniers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute of the match, Remy Schoenmaekers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Otoniel Mondragon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rani Boys's Diedrik Reiniers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loid Vrints in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Dimitri Wittemans threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rani Boys's Remy Schoenmaekers quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 42nd minute, Gerrit Weygaers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Loid Vrints made the kick off in the second half. Bjorn Quinet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diedrik Reiniers having to interfere. After some careless play in the Rani Boys defense, Loid Vrints kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diedrik Reiniers. The Rani Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diedrik Reiniers should have stopped the shot. Jilian Vrins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Otoniel Mondragon having to make a save. In the 65th minute, Kaysersheim's Thibaud Neesens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. 1-4 became the score in the 70th minute when Thibaud Neesens elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Rani Boys's Brian Vincke got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Gabriel Valckenaers charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Valckenaers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rani Boys getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Gabriel Valckenaers hit a great ball. Matijs De Vlaeminck was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Kaysersheim's Loid Vrints in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rani Boys's goalie prevented a goal. If Thibaud Neesens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diedrik Reiniers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thibaud Neesens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Kaysersheim could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rani Boys throughout the match.
