The supporters of Tikki Mo Salah booed when Onhaye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xander Van Geertruyden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacky Van Linthout in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, one of Tikki Mo Salah:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tikki Mo Salah:s Wart Jans showed great skill when he stopped Wim Van Houdtvinck:s penalty. Onhaye's Xander Van Geertruyden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Onhaye from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, Jos Van Gheel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven Snäll took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wart Jans. Wart Jans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Xander Van Geertruyden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roderik Worteler in the 20th minute. A collision led to Onhaye getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Wim Van Houdtvinck hit a great ball. Sven Snäll kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Wart Jans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernd Leenders, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven Snäll in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wart Jans saved Tikki Mo Salah from getting behind. Xander Van Geertruyden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacky Van Linthout, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute Jacky Van Linthout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xander Van Geertruyden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joerie Baeyens during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Onhaye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joerie Baeyens to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven Snäll made a kick off. Xander Van Geertruyden came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tikki Mo Salah's Giovanny Castermans. But to his dismay, Giovanny Castermans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sven Snäll struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Wart Jans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Onhaye. Wart Jans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Mesmaekers, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Andre Mesmaekers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Tikki Mo Salah's Wart Jans got control of the ball when Sven Snäll tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giovanny Castermans scored 2-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xander Van Geertruyden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roderik Worteler struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Xander Van Geertruyden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tikki Mo Salah. Onhaye's Xander Van Geertruyden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacky Van Linthout in the 79th minute of play. When Pål Joensson got free in front of the goal in the 81st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Wart Jans was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Onhaye got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Vinhas. Onhaye's Xander Van Geertruyden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacky Van Linthout in the 83rd minute of play. Wart Jans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Mesmaekers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billy Vranx lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tikki Mo Salah's goalkeeper Wart Jans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Onhaye players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tikki Mo Salah.
