Ignace Himschoot was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Nestor Paraibano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nestor Paraibano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. FC Rising Stars's Ignace Himschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Martins in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Martins in the 9th minute of play forced FC Rising Stars's goalkeeper Ignace Himschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Paraibano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Ignace Himschoot made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ignace Himschoot. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Stefan Boegaerts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Taffarel was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, FC Rising Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Martins came free, but Ignace Himschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alfredo Martins came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Marquês de Herval fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Martins couldn't finish the play. Nestor Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Nestor Paraibano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ignace Himschoot, 3-0. 30 minutes into the match, FC Rising Stars's goalkeeper Ignace Himschoot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nestor Paraibano. When Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Rising Stars's goalie prevented a goal. Alfredo Martins struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ignace Himschoot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marquês de Herval. 36 minutes into the match, Nestor Paraibano notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FC Rising Stars's Ignace Himschoot. Ignace Himschoot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Luís da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute Michael Koppen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 minutes FC Rising Stars's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Luís da Rocha who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Marquês de Herval's corner Pedro Luís da Rocha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ignace Himschoot quite easily take care of the ball. In the 46th minute of the match Gao Xiang Guang shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ignace Himschoot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Boegaerts to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Alfredo Martins notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FC Rising Stars's Ignace Himschoot. Ignace Himschoot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Cano in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Rising Stars's goalkeeper Ignace Himschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54thth minute of the game Nestor Paraibano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Rising Stars's Ignace Himschoot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Rising Stars's Ignace Himschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Paraibano in the 58th minute of play. Ignace Himschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Cano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes of play, Marquês de Herval's German Cano made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignace Himschoot was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Rising Stars's Ignace Himschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Martins in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to FC Rising Stars getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Axell Van De Gehuchte hit a great ball. Alfredo Martins scored 7-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ignace Himschoot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 70 played minutes FC Rising Stars got a freekick which was hit by Steve Van Linthaut. Pedro Luís da Rocha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ignace Himschoot. FC Rising Stars's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ignace Himschoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Cano in the 74th minute of play. German Cano took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ignace Himschoot. Ignace Himschoot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. After some careless play in the FC Rising Stars defense, Nestor Paraibano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignace Himschoot. The FC Rising Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignace Himschoot should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute Nestor Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignace Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignace Himschoot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Cano in the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Nestor Paraibano made a precise shot to the right of Ignace Himschoot. FC Rising Stars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Marquês de Herval were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Rising Stars for a fine match.
