Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Warriors's goalkeeper Sverker Åberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Froilan Bladi. After having played for 9 minutes, Victorino Pelagius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Pelagius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorino Pelagius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sverker Åberg. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Lars-Erik Fernkvist hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Ciriaco Roderigo came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Warriors's Allan Collin. But to his dismay, Allan Collin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Granada FC's Uriel Claris got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Baldomiro Cordairo's late challenge caught a Warriors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Cordairo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Granada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Cordairo to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Victorino Pelagius fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sverker Åberg, passed just outside the right post. In the 34th match minute, Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilgot Löfkvist to maneuver through the defense. Lars-Erik Fernkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Sverker Åberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Froilan Bladi went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Granada FC's Sverker Åberg threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victorino Pelagius, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Allan Collin made a kick off. Ciriaco Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Collin, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Warriors's Allan Collin in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Granada FC's goalie prevented a goal. Lars-Erik Fernkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ciriaco Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Froilan Bladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Pelagius struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Sverker Åberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granada FC. After a rather tough play, Warriors's Per-Oskar Överman got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Sverker Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Pelagius, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Froilan Bladi struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Sverker Åberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granada FC. Ciriaco Roderigo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Andy Sandwall. In the 79th minute, Karl-Axel Haström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uriel Claris hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Sverker Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Victorino Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sverker Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Pelagius in the 86th minute of play. If Victorino Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ingmar Hjeltman fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warriors's protests and gave Ingmar Hjeltman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Hjeltman to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Granada FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Benigno Galeno hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Allan Collin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Warriors's Sverker Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Bladi in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Granada FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Warriors had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
