Hélio O'Connell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Antognoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Zarillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Björn Tingelholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélio O'Connell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The crowd rose to their feet as Maritek FC's Felice Tacco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Antognoni. That made the score 2-1 after 55 minutes of play. Hélio O'Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Tingelholm in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, San Felice a Ema U.L. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herberto Ribas to maneuver through the defense. San Felice a Ema U.L. made a substitution. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The San Felice a Ema U.L. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Maritek FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
