With an all-out effort, Maritek FC's Alexsandro Godoi threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felice Tacco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ferruccio Zarillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Alexsandro Godoi made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Maritek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo came free, but Hélio O'Connell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hélio O'Connell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hélio O'Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Ferruccio Zarillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexsandro Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 36th match minute, Maritek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippo Lucente to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Ferruccio Zarillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amola Bamba hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Mihail Brânza sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Maritek FC's Hélio O'Connell didn't even have to move.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferruccio Zarillo made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Maritek FC's goalkeeper Hélio O'Connell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrea Tofani. Andrea Tofani who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Hélio O'Connell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Maritek FC's Hélio O'Connell got control of the ball when Andrea Tofani tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Tacco in the 59th minute of play forced I ritirandi di Canaus's goalkeeper Alexsandro Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Maritek FC were awarded a corner. Andrea Mariani went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Maritek FC's corner Felice Tacco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alexsandro Godoi quite easily take care of the ball. Alexsandro Godoi came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Maritek FC's Ettore Santo. But to his dismay, Ettore Santo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Filippo Lucente kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Maritek FC's Filippo Lucente got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Andrea Tofani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. I ritirandi di Canaus's Alexsandro Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Santo in the 70th minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Ettore Santo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but I ritirandi di Canaus's Alexsandro Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maritek FC made a substitution. Tomás Moita replaced Ferruccio Zarillo. Hélio O'Connell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Tofani in the 84th minute of the match. Hélio O'Connell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Comunardo Cerri went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 88 played minutes I ritirandi di Canaus got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Tofani. In the 90th minute Andrea Tofani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio O'Connell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
