If Davide Rinaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortunato Sangermano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Furia in the 4th minute of play. Anfilogino Furia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Sangermano having to interfere. Herta Budino's Fortunato Sangermano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Giusto in the 10th minute of play. When Anfilogino Furia fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Old BaoBaB Accademy's protests and gave Anfilogino Furia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Old BaoBaB Accademy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Furia to maneuver through the defense. Fábio Grosso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabiano Violento. Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fabiano Violento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Rinaldi in the 20th minute of the match. Fabiano Violento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kleanthis Zoumakis in the 28th minute of play. When Herta Budino's Davide Rinaldi in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalie prevented a goal. Davide Rinaldi took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabiano Violento. Fabiano Violento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Fortunato Sangermano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Giusto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davide Rinaldi to make the kick off. Herta Budino's Kleanthis Zoumakis got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Norberto Ursino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Old BaoBaB Accademy made a substitution. Emilio Buffone replaced Emiliano Giusto. Herta Budino's Corrado Loiacono was substituted for Adam Baldy. Davide Rinaldi took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabiano Violento. Fabiano Violento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 69th minute Emilio Buffone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Sangermano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 71st minute of play forced Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalkeeper Fabiano Violento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Old BaoBaB Accademy defense, Davide Rinaldi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabiano Violento. The Old BaoBaB Accademy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabiano Violento should have stopped the shot. Cesare Marcolongo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Fortunato Sangermano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Herta Budino's Fortunato Sangermano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Herta Budino from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Buffone got free with Fortunato Sangermano in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Herta Budino's Fortunato Sangermano got control of the ball when Emilio Buffone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabiano Violento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Furtado in the 88th minute of play. Emilio Buffone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Fortunato Sangermano made a huge save. In the 96th minute Anfilogino Furia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Sangermano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
