The audience thought a goal was coming when Joseph Asklöv got free with Davide Conte in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Joseph Asklöv came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Sao Brasola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Asklöv couldn't finish the play. Urbano Saturnin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Cino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Punta in the 12th minute of play forced Alba FC's goalkeeper Davide Conte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alba FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesare Punta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 84th minute Cesare Punta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Conte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davide Conte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Punta, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Alba FC's Davide Conte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Asklöv in the 85th minute of play. After 85th play minutes Cesare Punta shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Davide Conte and just under the crossbar into goal. Davide Conte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Asklöv, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Sao Brasola's Cesare Punta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davide Conte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sao Brasola had won after a very even match.
