Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Loco Durazno started the match with the kick off. In the 11th minute of the game Igor Dzierwa made a throw-in which Loco Durazno played forward. If Arnaldo Basajaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute Arnaldo Basajaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariusz Komornicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 16th minute of play. Loco Durazno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mariusz Komornicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Durazno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes, Arnaldo Basajaun made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Björn Björkqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Loco Durazno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnaldo Basajaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Lundqvist having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Loco Durazno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariusz Komornicki. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loco Durazno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Basajaun made a kick off.
