The corner ended in Dumitru Velicu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov did a great save. A collision led to Velester Football Club getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Yin Zhi Wei hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Betão Camargo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 played minutes Garlic Eaters got a freekick which was hit by Pavol Stano. Ferdinando Scarinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justin Collingwood in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Velester Football Club's Dumitru Velicu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikolay Bonkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Velicu in the 45th minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Nikolay Bonkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Velester Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Carafa.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adriano Carafa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dumitru Velicu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Nikolay Bonkov made a huge save. Ferdinando Scarinci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fitz Lambley, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Velester Football Club's Stephan Wehkamp managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Noel Broom in the 75 minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Emanuel Gliga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nikolay Bonkov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 79th minute Justin Collingwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Scarinci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Jozef Lewandowski made a precise shot to the right of Ferdinando Scarinci. Velester Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Dumitru Velicu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nikolay Bonkov. That made the score 1-3 in the 90 minute of play. The supporters of Garlic Eaters booed when Velester Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Piglowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Hanley took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinando Scarinci. Ferdinando Scarinci dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Velester Football Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
