Darío Friederichs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Vilhelm Skoog quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jose Rojas, made in the 20th minute of the game. Erubiel Valery made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Deilmison van Basten. Nibiru X's Diego Armando Faine was substituted for Isidro De Gavardo. In the 65th minute Nibiru X were awarded a corner. Renato Kilpatrick went to the cornerflag to take it. Diego Armando Faine took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodriguinho Sousa. Rodriguinho Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. ATHLETICO PRaiano made a substitution. If Fabio Caviedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nibiru X's Darío Friederichs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 86th minute of play. After some careless play in the Nibiru X defense, Deilmison van Basten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darío Friederichs. The Nibiru X fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darío Friederichs should have stopped the shot. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save ATHLETICO PRaiano from getting a goal against them. Diego Armando Faines short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Rodriguinho Sousa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nibiru X's goalkeeper Darío Friederichs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ATHLETICO PRaiano succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Nibiru X had controlled the match.
