Romaveros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaniusky Mercadillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ardha Sitepu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adi Bangun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Onofre Liaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daus Budjana during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Romaveros FC booed when BTHON FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. The BTHON FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ardha Sitepu should have stopped the shot. Ardha Sitepu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaniusky Mercadillo in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Adjat Simangunsong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ardha Sitepu was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Yaniusky Mercadillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yaniusky Mercadillo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Yaniusky Mercadillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ardha Sitepu having to make a save. Armand Purwanto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Romaveros FC booed when BTHON FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cakra Rotinsulu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romaveros FC's Onofre Liaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adi Bangun in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Aditya Asmara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Onofre Liaño skillfully saved the ball.
