An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Mouche in the 5th minute of play forced WAL Family United Team's goalkeeper Lopes Rosell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Mouche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 17 minutes into the game, Pilar FC's Pablo Mouche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Uria's late challenge caught a Pilar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Uria helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute Severino Astrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lopes Rosell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pablo Mouche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lopes Rosell was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The Pilar FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Pilar FC's Pablo Mouche looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 46th minute, Pablo Mouche made a precise shot to the right of Lopes Rosell. WAL Family United Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. After the first half Pilar FC were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, WAL Family United Team's Eladio Rascon got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 61st minute, Pilar FC's Pablo Mouche ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lopes Rosell. Lopes Rosell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. 74 minutes into the match, WAL Family United Team's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Mouche came free, but Lopes Rosell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Severino Astrada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lopes Rosell. WAL Family United Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Astrada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. With a little luck, WAL Family United Team's Lopes Rosell got control of the ball when Pablo Mouche tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Lopes Rosell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lopes Rosell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Mouche in the 95th minute of play. Pilar FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
