Spectators: 7533 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Cássio Matorin made the kick off and thus started the match. Manuel Mendes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedito Vinhas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. The Jenipapo SC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Jenipapo SC's Cristiano Marquez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 14 minutes of play, Galo do Cerrado's Benjamin Branco made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedito Vinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! If José Pedro Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Elder Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Branco in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedito Vinhas saved Jenipapo SC from getting behind. Elder Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Andrade having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Cássio Matorin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jenipapo SC's Benedito Vinhas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, Simão Travassos made a precise shot to the right of Alfredinho Andrade. Galo do Cerrado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Benedito Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Branco in the 33rd minute of the match. Simão Travassos scored 1-4 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredinho Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredinho Andrade came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Simão Travassos. But to his dismay, Simão Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Alfredinho Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Travassos in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Cristiano Marquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredinho Andrade. Galo do Cerrado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Marquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Roberto Cafuringa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Cássio Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simão Travassos to strike the kick off in the second half. Elder Schmidt scored 1-7 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredinho Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inácio Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inácio Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Galo do Cerrado got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Arce. After a rather tough play, Galo do Cerrado's Manuel Mendes got a free kick in the 68th minute. The long shot by Sílvio Luiz de Toledo in the 69th minute really tested Alfredinho Andrade's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. José Pedro Coutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Alfredinho Andrade made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper Alfredinho Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simão Travassos. With a little luck, Galo do Cerrado's Alfredinho Andrade got control of the ball when Elder Schmidt tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Elder Schmidt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfredinho Andrade. Elder Schmidt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-9. Alfredinho Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro Coutinho in the 85th minute of play. Alfredinho Andrade came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Simão Travassos. But to his dismay, Simão Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-10. A collision led to Galo do Cerrado getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Benjamin Branco hit a great ball. Jenipapo SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
