Karen FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Domingo Salvidor ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 20th minute, Guaberto Lluc made a precise shot to the right of Ma Yong Jun. Karen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After taking down the ball on Los Hijos de Doña Beija's corner Domingo Salvidor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ma Yong Jun quite easily take care of the ball. Oskar Sandell hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Ma Yong Jun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Lluc, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Lluc in the 37th minute of play. The Los Hijos de Doña Beija fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Nestor Bernat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 96 minutes into the match, Karen FC's Chrisostomos Grimsø sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luigi Gatti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Los Hijos de Doña Beija could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Karen FC throughout the match.
