Dorking United FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Simon Buckler in the 23rd minute. Dorking United FC's Simon Buckler was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rainer Seltorp in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Franz Graydon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rainer Seltorp having to interfere. In the 28th minute Mike Jefferies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rainer Seltorp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franz Graydon in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rainer Seltorp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by islahiye spor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Simon Buckler was slow to take the kick. During this time Dorking United FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Simon Buckler got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rainer Seltorp quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kris Devine kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Franz Graydon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rainer Seltorp was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in islahiye spor's zone, Franz Graydon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rainer Seltorp came out of the goal and Franz Graydon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to islahiye spor getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Kris Devine hit a great ball. With a little luck, islahiye spor's Rainer Seltorp got control of the ball when Franz Graydon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Sparks who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Rainer Seltorp when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Franz Graydon might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rainer Seltorp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franz Graydon ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Franz Graydon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rainer Seltorp was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Franz Graydon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dorking United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-6. Dorking United FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
