Alex Adam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Albeiro Usuriaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Buzău's Alex Buzincu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Dacio in the 12th minute of play. After 16 played minutes FC Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Eric Vornicu. After 17 played minutes, Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Cristo Errolan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alex Buzincu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ reached it. Hilario Laurgain made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Ţiţeica in the 22nd minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Ilie Nasta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Buzău's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilie Nasta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Buzincu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albeiro Usuriaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmar Fix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 minutes, Amadeo Dacio made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Buzău's Alex Buzincu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's zone, Eric Vornicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Laurgain came out of the goal and Eric Vornicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amadeo Dacio made a kick off. Alex Adam scored 1-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hilario Laurgain, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute Emilian Răduța shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Laurgain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Buzău's George Ţiţeica got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Mingo. After 66 minutes of play, FC Buzău's George Ţiţeica made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilario Laurgain was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69th minute, George Ţiţeica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hilario Laurgain was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Emilian Răduța kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Alex Buzincu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmar Fix went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Marcos Claude got a free kick in the 79th minute. Hilario Laurgain didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionuț Năsturel went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Hilario Laurgain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilian Răduța, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Delmar Fix came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Fix couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC Buzău getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ionuț Năsturel hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Delmar Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Buzincu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Buzău.
