In the game's 12th minute SCARFACE's Toni Zwarthoet took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Samuel Demicoli and thus the score was 1-0. Edward van Asten came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Samuel Demicoli could save by the left post. Fernando Wielens kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Jurgen Ottens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Austin Gatt put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Giovanni Braamhaar. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward van Asten was the one to do the kick off. In the 88th minute, Austin Gatt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Templars FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
