Three Lions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CERRO PORTEÑO the free kick. After a rather tough play, Three Lions FC's Guto Brodel got a free kick in the 5th minute. A collision led to Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Haroldo Batista hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Xabat Lariz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CERRO PORTEÑO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Three Lions FC the free kick. In the 14th minute, Xabat Lariz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orlo Rujula came free, but Dênis de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led CERRO PORTEÑO's Xabat Lariz to fire away a dangerous shot which Dênis de Castro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 21st minute Orlo Rujula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Luisito Gadañon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Three Lions FC's Dênis de Castro. Dênis de Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute Luisito Gadañon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 49 minutes into the match, Xabat Lariz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Three Lions FC's Dênis de Castro. Dênis de Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CERRO PORTEÑO made a substitution. Jeremias Farras replaced Urti Rancaño. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlo Rujula to make the kick off. After 59 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Farras. Dênis de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Sobrido in the 61st minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Three Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Batista to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, CERRO PORTEÑO's Gartxot Antonijoan got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Luisito Gadañon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luisito Gadañon came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the CERRO PORTEÑO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Gadañon couldn't finish the play. When CERRO PORTEÑO's Orlo Rujula in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Proença in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Three Lions FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vermudo Capetillo was slow to take the kick. During this time CERRO PORTEÑO's players had a chance to rest. Vermudo Capetillo made a great header on CERRO PORTEÑO's corner, it was just that Three Lions FC's Dênis de Castro managed to reach the ball for a save. Guto Brodel hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Dênis de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlo Rujula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglas Duarte scored 2-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giraldo Laiseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu de Moraes in the 92nd minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Giraldo Laiseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Luisito Gadañon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guto Brodel in the 97th minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Giraldo Laiseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Gadañon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dênis de Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. Guto Brodel scored 3-3 in the 102nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giraldo Laiseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
