Costică Răduțu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Couto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Costică Răduțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th match minute, Brazil Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho Valadares to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Brazil Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Costică Răduțu came free, but João Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cormoranii -MM- booed when Brazil Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durval Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Couto was a little too slow when Vintilă Hălmăgeanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 38th match minute, Brazil Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. João Couto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vintilă Hălmăgeanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vintilă Hălmăgeanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving João Couto. That made the score 3-1 in the 45 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vintilă Hălmăgeanu made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolae Drăgoi during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Durval Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lúcio Munhoz struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Dino Zoff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brazil Academy. 63 minutes into the game, Cormoranii -MM-'s Valentin Agrigoroaiei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Couto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. João Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Hălmăgeanu in the 72nd minute of the match. After 78 played minutes Brazil Academy got a freekick which was hit by Valdo de Almeida. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Hălmăgeanu in the 83rd minute of play forced Brazil Academy's goalkeeper João Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vlad Maleș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. João Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Messias hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Vintilă Hălmăgeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cormoranii -MM-'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
