Ricky Van Dock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Cosme Sansone came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Peluchita Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Sansone couldn't finish the play. Ricky Van Dock came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Peluchita Fc's Cosme Sansone. But to his dismay, Cosme Sansone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 15th minute Fernandez Cuero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Kornatowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Kornatowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelis Goorts in the 20th minute of play. Bogdan Kornatowski was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fabrice Vanden Berghe. The referee gave Peluchita Fc a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cosme Sansone, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bacardi FC's Ricky Van Dock. 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Peluchita Fc's zone, Geert Bosmans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Kornatowski came out of the goal and Geert Bosmans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Franck Rutgeerts in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peluchita Fc's Jonathan Deunoro. In the 40th minute, Cosme Sansone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Peluchita Fc's Cosme Sansone in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bacardi FC's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernandez Cuero to strike the kick off in the second half. Bogdan Kornatowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandez Cuero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricky Van Dock made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Cosme Sansone sent off a good shot on target. Ricky Van Dock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosme Sansone in the 57th minute. Jonathan Deunoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Ricky Van Dock made a huge save. A collision led to Bacardi FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Franck Rutgeerts hit a great ball. Bogdan Kornatowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geert Bosmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Ricky Van Dock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Deunoro in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute of the match Faustino Toro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricky Van Dock skillfully saved the ball. Peluchita Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bacardi FC the free kick. In the 71st match minute, Peluchita Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Bikendi to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute of the match Fabrice Vanden Berghe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bogdan Kornatowski skillfully saved the ball. Faustino Toro's late challenge caught a Bacardi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Cosme Sansone fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peluchita Fc's protests and gave Cosme Sansone a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Cosme Sansone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Peluchita Fc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peluchita Fc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
