Kutluay Haşmetli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Broby in the 5th minute of the match. 5 minutes in the game, Brian Broby dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Lex Verweijen hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Halit Fahri Subutay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in MarineerS FK's zone, Brian Broby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kutluay Haşmetli came out of the goal and Brian Broby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kutluay Haşmetli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobus Lubbers, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 15 minutes of play, MarineerS FK's Alpertunga Korcan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Peter Wansink was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Yenal Okdemir in the 18th minute of play forced Winthont FC's goalkeeper Jan-Peter Wansink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Peter Wansink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yenal Okdemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Peter Wansink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alpertunga Korcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jan-Peter Wansink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sancarbey Çakıroğlu in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to MarineerS FK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. After 34 minutes, Fokke Cornelisse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Winthont FC and the MarineerS FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alpertunga Korcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Winthont FC booed when MarineerS FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fatih Özsahin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Broby in the 39th minute of play forced MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Kutluay Haşmetli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobus Lubbers succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 41st playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Brian Broby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winthont FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Broby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kutluay Haşmetli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, MarineerS FK's Kutluay Haşmetli got control of the ball when Jacobus Lubbers tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 50th minute, Roland Koekkoek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Brian Broby came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Winthont FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Broby couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Brian Broby's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kutluay Haşmetli was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Winthont FC's Jan-Peter Wansink proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Winthont FC from getting a goal against them. Kutluay Haşmetli came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Winthont FC's Roland Koekkoek. But to his dismay, Roland Koekkoek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Kutluay Haşmetli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacobus Lubbers's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, MarineerS FK's Halit Fahri Subutay got a free kick in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobus Lubbers came free, but Kutluay Haşmetli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fatih Özsahin in the 80th minute of play forced Winthont FC's goalkeeper Jan-Peter Wansink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Broby in the 82nd minute of play forced MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Kutluay Haşmetli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, MarineerS FK's Alpertunga Korcan got a free kick in the 85th minute. Kutluay Haşmetli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobus Lubbers in the 89th minute of the match. After some careless play in the MarineerS FK defense, Brian Broby kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kutluay Haşmetli. The MarineerS FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kutluay Haşmetli should have stopped the shot. Winthont FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
