After the first half Oldham Athletic were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Oscar Bäcklin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 叶斌枫 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 延边朝鲜族足球俱乐部's 叶斌枫 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Bollström in the 81st minute of play. Oldham Athletic were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
