Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Jonatan Jurgi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ferdinand Serneels came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Astros de México's Marcelino Bernal. But to his dismay, Marcelino Bernal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th match minute, The Original Wonderteam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitry Meys to maneuver through the defense. Bernabe Cordarell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ferdinand Serneels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Timy Coppens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Original Wonderteam and the Astros de México players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Timy Coppens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinand Serneels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Jurgi in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Jurgi in the 31st minute of play forced The Original Wonderteam's goalkeeper Ferdinand Serneels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Serneels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Cordarell in the 33rd minute of play. After 41 played minutes Astros de México got a freekick which was hit by Candido Dantel. Rigoberto Ilixo was a little too slow when Frank Dewolf got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Astros de México:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Original Wonderteam:s goal. Rocky Breugelmans shot the penalty kick right outside the post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vic Van Caenegem made a kick off. Vic Van Caenegem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Vic Van Caenegem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rigoberto Ilixo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frank Dewolf struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rigoberto Ilixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Original Wonderteam. Rigoberto Ilixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vic Van Caenegem in the 68th minute of play. Astros de México's Rigoberto Ilixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vic Van Caenegem in the 86th minute of play. The Original Wonderteam's Frank Dewolf got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Original Wonderteam's Ferdinand Serneels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Dantel in the 94th minute of play. The Original Wonderteam walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
