Les diables noirs's Kevan Grange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Shantala in the 5th minute of play. Kevan Grange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Shantala, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 8th minute, Wilfried Lépinay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kevan Grange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Lluc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mercado Paulista F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bishen Bolas in the 10th minute. After taking down the ball on Mercado Paulista F.C's corner Bishen Bolas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kevan Grange quite easily take care of the ball. Kevan Grange didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon Shantala went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 20 minutes of play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Ramon Shantala made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kevan Grange was left in no man's land by his defense there! Moïse Ganivet kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 minutes, Ramon Shantala made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Les diables noirs's Kevan Grange tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramon Shantala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevan Grange having to interfere. Kevan Grange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Shantala in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Mercado Paulista F.C's Ramon Shantala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kevan Grange made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Kevan Grange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Shantala, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Mercado Paulista F.C were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Shantala made a kick off. Wilfried Lépinay's late challenge caught a Mercado Paulista F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilfried Lépinay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mercado Paulista F.C booed when Les diables noirs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfried Lépinay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Ramon Shantala notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Les diables noirs's Kevan Grange. Kevan Grange was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ramon Shantala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kevan Grange read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. A hard shot 60 in the game by Ramon Shantala from a close distance when the talented Kevan Grange managed to make a qualified save. Les diables noirs's players were relieved. Kevan Grange made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Ramon Shantala sent off a good shot on target. Kevan Grange stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Shantala's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Les diables noirs's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Shantala came free, but Kevan Grange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramon Shantala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Kevan Grange when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ramon Shantala kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 74thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Les diables noirs's keeper Kevan Grange was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Ramon Shantala sped through Les diables noirs's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kevan Grange. Wilfried Lépinay hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 83rd play minutes Ramon Shantala shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Kevan Grange and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 94thth minute of the game Ramon Shantala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Les diables noirs's Kevan Grange was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mercado Paulista F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
