Spectators: 7565 (Terracing: 5675, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) RamPa Football Club's Gonzo Castro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Gonzo Castro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Zijdewind SC's Rein van Steensel. Rein van Steensel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, RamPa Football Club's Ospetsu Gene got control of the ball when Rudi den Hartog tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzo Castro came free, but Rein van Steensel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pieter-Jan van der Laan got free with Ospetsu Gene in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferdi Dekens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pieter-Jan van der Laan kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, RamPa Football Club's Ramon Nesta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rein van Steensel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After having played for 39 minutes, Gonzo Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RamPa Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzo Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 played minutes RamPa Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Xalvador Lledias. After some careless play in the Zijdewind SC defense, Gonzo Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rein van Steensel. The Zijdewind SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rein van Steensel should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdi Dekens made a kick off. Pieter-Jan van der Laan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Zijdewind SC's Pieter-Jan van der Laan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ospetsu Gene made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 61st minute, Wesley de Haan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieter-Jan van der Laan in the 63rd minute of play forced RamPa Football Club's goalkeeper Ospetsu Gene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ospetsu Gene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdi Dekens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Rein van Steensel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzo Castro. Zijdewind SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Gonzo Castro scored to the left of an out of position Rein van Steensel, making the score, 2-4. Pieter-Jan van der Laan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ospetsu Gene having to interfere. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Gonzo Castro sped through Zijdewind SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rein van Steensel.
