After some careless play in the FC GURZUN defense, Zachary Siekierka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cătălin Dăianu. The FC GURZUN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cătălin Dăianu should have stopped the shot. If Cristinel Trapcea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. In the 35th match minute, FC GURZUN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Trapcea to maneuver through the defense. During the 39th minute of the match Gică Oros completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gică Oros a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 40th minute, Gică Oros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cătălin Dăianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachary Siekierka in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wojciech Podowski in the 46th minute of play forced FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Cătălin Dăianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Czeslaw Dulemba hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
