Risto Leinatamm yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Raymond Arrington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Risto Leinatamm having to interfere. Jaagup Valgupera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Quinn Bond notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Grimório's Risto Leinatamm. Risto Leinatamm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th minute, Agur Kadastu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Lucero was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 31st minute, Jaagup Valgupera made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Lucero. Deportivo Rodriguez's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Ivan Lucero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaagup Valgupera went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. After the first half Grimório were leading 3-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Roosevelt Sullivan came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Deportivo Rodriguez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roosevelt Sullivan couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Deportivo Rodriguez booed when Grimório was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahti Virunurm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th match minute, Deportivo Rodriguez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Connor Marrero to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Lucero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaagup Valgupera, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Quinn Bond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Risto Leinatamm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Malone in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Eric Malone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Risto Leinatamm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grimório's Risto Leinatamm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curt Barrios in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roosevelt Sullivan in the 91st minute of play forced Grimório's goalkeeper Risto Leinatamm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Carver charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Carver the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Deportivo Rodriguez got a freekick which was hit by Eric Malone. Agur Kadastu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Lucero having to interfere. Grimório's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
