In the 47th minute Fernando Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Bergfelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Américo Raposo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 65 played minutes Gnesta Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Östlund. 67 minutes into the game, Américo Raposo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erling Bergfelt. Américo Raposo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Américo Raposo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Erling Bergfelt made a huge save. When Américo Raposo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. The supporters of Gnesta Oilers booed when SLB TELHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Américo Raposo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Bento to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Fernando Bento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Nuno Modesto in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gnesta Oilers's Sven-Åke Gadd.
