Spectators: 7492 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Leontin Bungescu made the kick off and thus started the match. Nicasio Montrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Bungescu in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, RB Buzău's Nechifor Pătrașcu got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, Artemio Tibalt made a precise shot to the right of Gigel Lupea. RB Buzău's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gigel Lupea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Eleder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mugur Pantea hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Luisito Eleder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigel Lupea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. RB Buzău's Gigel Lupea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Eleder in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Artemio Tibalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Lupea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 48 minutes, Luisito Eleder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOUTH THUNDER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisito Eleder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artemio Tibalt made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Leontin Bungescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicasio Montrel was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After 58 played minutes RB Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Traian Voina. Luisito Eleder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Gigel Lupea made a huge save. In the 61st minute, Artemio Tibalt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gigel Lupea. The goal made the score 0-3. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Artemio Tibalt took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Gigel Lupea to make any attempt to save it. In the 69th minute, one of RB Buzău:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RB Buzău. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for SOUTH THUNDER. Matias Tonete stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gigel Lupea. 0-5. In the 73rd minute, Șerban Baicea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Artemio Tibalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80thth minute of the game Traian Voina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SOUTH THUNDER's Nicasio Montrel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, RB Buzău's goalkeeper Gigel Lupea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisito Eleder. Artemio Tibalt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gigel Lupea came out and tried to block the shot, but Artemio Tibalt slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 88th minute. 92 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Bungescu came free, but Nicasio Montrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SOUTH THUNDER booed when RB Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Trifănucă didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded SOUTH THUNDER left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RB Buzău.
