The audience thought a goal was coming when Costică Răduțu got free with Dadá da Mata in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Clube Atlético Luziense's Dadá da Mata got control of the ball when Costică Răduțu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Délio Loyola charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Délio Loyola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cormoranii -MM- booed when Clube Atlético Luziense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Délio Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 38 minutes into the game, when Bernardinho Dante put in a rough tackle. Bernardinho Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerson Furlan during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Costică Răduțu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá da Mata having to interfere. In the 54thth minute of the game Vlad Maleș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Atlético Luziense's Dadá da Mata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Luziense's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Ichim came free, but Dadá da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Clube Atlético Luziense defense, Emanuel Maftei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dadá da Mata. The Clube Atlético Luziense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dadá da Mata should have stopped the shot. Tudor Urdăreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Toscano in the 63rd minute of play. Geraldo de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tudor Urdăreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Cormoranii -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Murgoci. The supporters of Clube Atlético Luziense booed when Cormoranii -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. The crowd rose to their feet as Clube Atlético Luziense's Erasmo Toscano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tudor Urdăreanu. That made the score 2-2 after 85 minutes of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Costică Răduțu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cormoranii -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Costică Răduțu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cormoranii -MM-'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
