Spectators: 7702 (Terracing: 5778, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abdulkerim Sebat kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute Kraig McAlphie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fadıl Alan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anatolia FC's Fadıl Alan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Van Casteren in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Anatolia FC's Arif Gaffar Malgır dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 11 minutes, Ahmet Ömür Bakanay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anatolia FC and the FC Draconia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Anatolia FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ahmet Ömür Bakanay hit a great ball. Fadıl Alan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kraig McAlphie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Christian Van Maestricht came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the FC Draconia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Van Maestricht couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Van Casteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 29 minutes, Kraig McAlphie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Draconia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kraig McAlphie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Kraig McAlphie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fadıl Alan was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Anatolia FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emanuel Van Damme was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Draconia's players had a chance to rest. FC Draconia's Emanuel Van Damme was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fadıl Alan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Anatolia FC's Fadıl Alan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kraig McAlphie in the 35th minute of play. Daniel Van Casteren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fadıl Alan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Anatolia FC defense, Kraig McAlphie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fadıl Alan. The Anatolia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fadıl Alan should have stopped the shot. Ahmet Ömür Bakanay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sven Ceulemans came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmet Ömür Bakanay slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Ahmet Ömür Bakanay struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Sven Ceulemans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anatolia FC. After 52 played minutes FC Draconia got a freekick which was hit by Christian Van Maestricht. 57 minutes into the match, Kraig McAlphie notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Anatolia FC's Fadıl Alan. Fadıl Alan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When FC Draconia's Kraig McAlphie in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Kraig McAlphie put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Fadıl Alan. When FC Draconia's Freddy Olemans in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 81stth minute of the game Kraig McAlphie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anatolia FC's Fadıl Alan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Van Casteren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Draconia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. Fadıl Alan made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Kraig McAlphie sent off a good shot on target. Fadıl Alan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kraig McAlphie in the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Anatolia FC booed when FC Draconia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Van Maestricht didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haluk Sudi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sven Ceulemans. FC Draconia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kraig McAlphie who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Fadıl Alan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kraig McAlphie in the 95th minute of play forced Anatolia FC's goalkeeper Fadıl Alan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
