With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Björkdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Concordia Knurów's Marek Roosipuu in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye República de la Boca's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Madaleno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucjan Bielejewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Andreas Björkdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Roosipuu in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes in the game, Marek Roosipuu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimiro Henry in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucjan Bielejewski saved Concordia Knurów from getting behind. If Marek Roosipuu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Igor Škarpa scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Björkdahl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andreas Björkdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Roosipuu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Škarpa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 33rd playminute. Pablo Llorenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in República de la Boca's zone, Marek Roosipuu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Björkdahl came out of the goal and Marek Roosipuu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacek Biskupiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Andreas Björkdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Igor Škarpa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concordia Knurów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Škarpa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marek Roosipuu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Björkdahl having to interfere. Andreas Björkdahl was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Marek Roosipuu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marek Roosipuu really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimiro Henry made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Igor Škarpa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andreas Björkdahl. República de la Boca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Škarpa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Marek Roosipuu struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. One of República de la Boca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Concordia Knurów:s goal. Andreas Björkdahl had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Mieszko Barniszke's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
