Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anestis Raditsas in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarrett Rosenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Anestis Raditsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Nicky Cavazos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicky Cavazos during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmos Soccer Club's zone, Anestis Raditsas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarrett Rosenberg came out of the goal and Anestis Raditsas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarrett Rosenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anestis Raditsas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Anestis Raditsas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Alfredinho Vieira made a precise shot to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg. Cosmos Soccer Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Alfredinho Vieira notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg. Jarrett Rosenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half KEZ Toppfotball were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alfredinho Vieira made the kick off in the second half. Anestis Raditsass short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Jarrett Rosenberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Anestis Raditsas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jarrett Rosenberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Robustiano Amor charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Amor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Robustiano Amor got a free kick in the 60th minute.
