After a rather tough play, Alfonzo F.C.'s Flavio Cambranes got a free kick in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Maurice Odonnell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varennes's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurice Odonnell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Laurgain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Varennes booed when Alfonzo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Richie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Maurice Odonnell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfonzo F.C.'s Moises Laurgain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilberto Boone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xande Alexander-Arnold, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. 100 minutes into the match, Xande Alexander-Arnold notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Varennes's Gilberto Boone. Gilberto Boone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Varennes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
