Andrey Dvoryankin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Ireno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Alfredo Ireno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Arsenal F.C.'s Paolo Rossi in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The attack was good, but when Alfredo Ireno in the 18th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 22 minutes into the match, Arsenal F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Ireno came free, but Andrey Dvoryankin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Jerardo took the corner. The corner ended in Hüsmen Ulutaş almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arsenal F.C.'s Andrey Dvoryankin did a great save.
