Leo Tabone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 谢帆沙 went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Leo Tabone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Ederono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as U21 Malta's Clayton Gerada slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Natanael Moreno. That made the score 2-1 after 21 minutes of play. 25 minutes into the match, U21 Malta's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Ederono came free, but Leo Tabone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Tabone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bogumil Wydrych went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Gilberto Ederono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Tabone having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Jacek Dombrowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KKPN Baltyk Koszalin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacek Dombrowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jacek Dombrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Clayton Gerada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natanael Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrence Buontempo in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, U21 Malta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrence Buontempo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrence Buontempo in the 73rd minute of play forced KKPN Baltyk Koszalin's goalkeeper Natanael Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Ederono in the 75th minute of play forced U21 Malta's goalkeeper Leo Tabone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natanael Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clayton Gerada in the 80th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes KKPN Baltyk Koszalin got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Dobrowski. Luigi Muscat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Natanael Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrence Buontempo in the 92nd minute of play forced KKPN Baltyk Koszalin's goalkeeper Natanael Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natanael Moreno came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Malta's Lawrence Buontempo. But to his dismay, Lawrence Buontempo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. U21 Malta were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing KKPN Baltyk Koszalin to leave the ground with a draw.
