Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Jalmari Mikkonen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Pinner Cluj-Napoca from getting a goal against them. In the 19thth minute of the game Leonardo Tipi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Jalmari Mikkonen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gonzo Maradona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nurettin in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edvard Võsandi got free with Jalmari Mikkonen in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Jalmari Mikkonen managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Les Tigres's Leonardo Tipi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 32 played minutes Les Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Severino Estevez. 40 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Nurettin came free, but Gonzo Maradona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jalmari Mikkonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvard Võsandi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes of play, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Ali Nurettin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gonzo Maradona was left in no man's land by his defense there! Grzegorz Sokolski hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Les Tigres made a substitution. Rodolfo Luken replaced Silvano Ihazintu. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Nurettin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ali Nurettin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gonzo Maradona. The goal made the score 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Gonzo Maradona successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristian Gallo in the 61st minute. A nice corner shot did that Isac Zub got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gonzo Maradona quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gonzo Maradona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Nurettin in the 65th minute of the match. Jalmari Mikkonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer-Asaf Güneş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pinner Cluj-Napoca made a substitution. Petruț Mircescu replaced Adam Vasilache. A sloppy throw-in by Grzegorz Sokolski in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Isac Zub. The corner led Les Tigres's Severino Estevez to fire away a dangerous shot which Jalmari Mikkonen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pinner Cluj-Napoca had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
